The Royal Bath and West Show has secured West Country fashion designer Gill Cockwell, owner and founder of fashion label Gilly Woo Couture and star of flagship BBC Series, ‘Turn Back Time – The High Street’, to be a judge at Ladies Day this year.

On Friday 3rd June, fashion-conscious ladies from far and wide will be bringing glamour to the show as fashion enters the ring for the second year running. Contestants’ outfits will be under the expert eye of Gill for the ultimate prize of ‘Best Dressed in the Show’.

An early starter, Gill started sewing at the tender age of six and was already sketching designs and fashioning garments by the age of ten. Today, the designer is the creator of dresses that have graced the red carpet at the Oscars and renowned for her stunning bridal gowns, cocktail dresses and stylish corsetry.

Commenting on her appointment as Ladies Day judge, Gill said:” I am delighted to be involved in Ladies Day at the Bath and West Show this year and I’m really looking forward to seeing the fashion on show and offering my styling tips and advice.”

This year, there will be a limited number of VIP tickets for Ladies Day. VIP ticket holders will receive exclusive access to a new ringside members’ bar to catch all the action on the main ring, a complimentary Afternoon Tea in the Members’ Marquee on the Lawn and priority car parking.
